About
From the time I could hold a crayon to paper, I have enjoyed working with words. My first “editing job” was before age 8, when I played teacher with the neighborhood kids, gave them assignments, and corrected their English “homework”!
Although I have long since traded in my crayons for a computer, I continue to relish in the written word as a professional editor and proofreader with more than 30 years of experience.
A member of ACES: The Society for Editing, Society of Professional Journalists, and Freelancers Union, I graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Mass Communication (emphasis on Print and Broadcast Journalism). During college, I was the classical music director at an FM radio station and overnight alternative rock DJ.
In my spare time, I enjoy collecting unusual grammar books, reading, listening to music from India, and playing with dogs.
